Figure Painting

This category includes paintings of nude and clothed humans. Most of the time I am doing some line sketches before I use watercolor. Figure painting requires a lot of knowledge of human anatomy, light, color, form and gesture. Adding clothing requires additionally to know how clothing folds and stretches.

Mankind is not only heavily bound to nature and our world but belongs to it without any exception. Any artificial things we dream or create are components to this universe. The universe itself has come to a state where parts of it are able to think of itself.
